FAQS
What
exactly is permanent cosmetic?
The technique involves
the delicate placement of small amounts of colored pigment into the
dermal layer of the skin. It is referred to as “permanent”
because it cannot be washed off. However, as with any pigment, fading
will occur over time and a periodic touch-up is recommended.

How
are permanent cosmetic procedures done?
While many procedures
are done with a painless, state of the art digital machine, Deanna also
specializes in the “soft tap” or pen technique. Which is
very gentle and especially precise.
Who
benefits from permanent cosmetic?
Anyone, at any age,
who desires a soft, natural enhancement to his or her appearance….
The objective is to raise self-esteem, confidence and allow for more
personal freedom.
Reasons
people opt for permanent cosmetic:
-
Allergies

-
Poor
eyesite
-
Poor
motor function or arthritic hands

Active
sports life

Intolerance to conventional makeup

Does the procedure hurt?
The sensation

has almost no sensation (except on lips). Topical anesthetic is used for
all procedures. A dental block is recommended for lips.
How
do you choose a color?

be selected to harmonize with your skin tones.
Can
I wear traditional makeup over the pigmented area?
Yes, permanent
makeup is designed to be only an enhancement for your natural features.
Wearing additional cosmetics is a personal choice.
How
long will permanent makeup last?
Eyeliner and lip liner have a better longevity, approximately 7 to 10
years. The average for eyebrows is 2 to 4 years for fair skinned people
and 4 to 7 years for darker skinned people.
